Worker/Owner and Adventure Guide
Hello hello, I’m Angie (she/hers)! I was always a dog-loving kid, but my dog journey didn't truly begin until I started volunteering for a dog rescue/foster group back in 2011, and became lead volunteer in 2013. During this time, I developed a passion for teaching people about dogs' individual needs. I became a dog trainer in 2014, and then began dog walking in 2017. I was bitten by the walker bug, and found my dream job. I love spending the day exploring Greater Boston with my client pups, rain or shine! Working as a dog trainer is my passion; I love helping people better understand their dog's individual needs, and seeing their relationships develop and grow.
This is the job I've wanted since childhood. That's why I was excited to be a part of the founding team for Adventure Pups. I want to be part of a business that functions on the idea that in order for it to thrive, its workers deserve all the support to thrive themselves.

Hey y'all! I'm Sasha (she/her), proud dog mom to Aurora, Barley, and Lotus! I'm a creative weirdo, lifelong nature lover, and Vermont native who grew up exploring the outdoors with my dogs. Nothing makes me happier than sharing adventures with your pups!
After graduating from Lesley University in 2019, I jumped straight into the professional pet care industry, where I quickly discovered my passion for working with dogs. What began as a love for animals has grown into a career centered around building trust, creating enriching adventures, and getting to know each dog's unique personality. In recent years, I've also discovered a love for dog photography and enjoy capturing candid moments that families can treasure long after the hike is over. When I'm not out on the trails, you'll often find me volunteering at my local animal shelter, APCSM, spending even more time with the animals I love.
My favorite thing about working with dogs is the joy, patience, and unconditional kindness they bring into the world. I truly believe humans could learn a thing or two from them. And yes, I'm the one with dog treats in my pocket!

Hi I’m Lauren (she/hers)! I’m from Florida and recently graduated from the University of Miami and decided to give Boston a try, but I never expected to find a dream job that I would fall in love with so fast! I am so happy and proud to be apart of such an amazing, supportive team at APC where everyone truly cares about each other. I couldn’t be more grateful to spend my days in nature while running around playing with dogs. Every pup has such a unique personality and it’s so rewarding to watch them come out of their shells as we build our relationship and trust. I feel so lucky to have a job that I look forward to every day!

Hey, I’m Alex (she/hers)! I’m a Boston native and proud dog mom to Willow and Griffin. I’ve always had a passion for animals-growing up with dogs, fostering through rescue organizations, and dog sitting for friends and family has only deepened that love. Being part of the APC team has been an incredible experience. I’m surrounded by supportive, caring people who truly love what they do. Spending my days outside with amazing dogs and a team that feels like family is something I’m deeply grateful for.

Worker/Owner and Adventure Guide
Hello, Javi (they/them) here! These guys have always been the love of my life, from growing up with pups of my own to working as a dog walker throughout 2024. I’ve been the neighborhood dog sitter since I was young, and over the years I’ve come to really appreciate learning their language and tuning into their world. As a lifelong nature enthusiast, I find joy in exploring the outdoors and creating enriching experiences for our furry friends. My favorite part of this work is witnessing each dog’s unique playfulness and personality come to life. I like to prioritize physical engagement, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement to help facilitate a space where they can safely be in their element.
Being part of APC is a great honor and responsibility. APC’s commitment to the well-being of its pups and its workers is one of a kind and truly makes each day feel like an adventure!
Matt Burke
Adventure Guide - since 2020
Oh hey! My name is Matt (he/him), and I’ve been running with one pack of pups or another since I was a kid. I have worked with dogs in various settings, from daycare to shelters, and my goal has always been the same: building relationships with dogs in order to enrich their lives, as well as the lives of their human counterparts.
My favorite thing about working with dogs is figuring out what makes them tick and helping them find a purpose. They’ve helped me discover mine, so it’s only right that I return the favor!
